Track and field athlete Gabriella Thomas, who specializes in 200m and 100m events, visited ESB to celebrate the launch of She Runs NYC in partnership with Athlos. Thomas flipped the world-famous light switch, lighting the building Pink before heading up to the 2nd Floor exhibits. She then posed for pictures on the iconic 86th and 102nd Floor Observatories.
- Thomas has earned a total of three gold, one silver, and one bronze medal, establishing herself as a world-class sprinter.
- Thomas was inspired to become a runner after watching Allyson Felix at the 2008 US Olympic Trials.
- She has earned her bachelor's degree in neurobiology from Harvard and a master’s in public health from the University of Texas.
