Mary J. Blige visited the Empire State Building to celebrate the grand opening of Ghirardelli's first-ever New York store. During the lighting ceremony, she flipped the "World's Most Famous Light Switch," which lit the building in Navy Blue and Gold. She was then pictured across the Observatory experience, including the 2nd Floor Exhibits and the 86th and 102nd Floor Observatories. She was then interviewed shortly after and was escorted to Ghirardelli's storefront for their ribbon cutting.
