ESB lights up for the lifesavers.
On March 25, the Empire State Building’s world-famous tower lights lit up in red to honor American Red Cross Month and Red Cross Giving Day.
Earlier today, the Empire State Building hosted a lighting ceremony with NBC News Entertainment Correspondent Chloe Melas, who flipped the famous light switch.
After the ceremony, Melas toured the Observatory Experience – which was recently named the #1 attraction in the World in Tripadvisor’s 2024 Travelers’ Choice Awards: Best of the Best Things to Do, and #1 Attraction in the U.S. for the third consecutive year – and posed for photos on the building’s 86th Floor and 102nd Floor Observatories.
Honored every March, American Red Cross Month celebrates those who help others in times of crisis, turning compassion into action. The American Red Cross encourages individuals to take action during the month of March through volunteer events, blood drives, education on lifesaving skills, or making donations to their important cause.
