On Friday, May 17, the Empire State Building shined its world-famous tower lights in orange to celebrate JBL Fest and its charitable partner, the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM).
Cookbook author and TV personality Chrissy Teigen and DJ duo Two Friends visited the Empire State Building Observatory earlier in the day to flip the famous switch in a lighting ceremony. Just before they did the honors, JBL presented NAMM with a $25,000 charitable donation to support music education.
After the ceremony, Chrissy and Two Friends toured the Observatory's interactive exhibits and posed for photos on the way up to the 86th Floor and 102nd Floor Observatory.
The National Association of Music Merchants celebrates and promotes the value of music education and celebrates the voices of those who embrace self-expression through music. NAMM and JBL have a longstanding partnership bringing music education and resources to children of all ages.
