ESB shines for the cause.
The Empire State Building hosted actress Elizabeth Hurley for a special lighting ceremony to honor Breast Cancer Awareness Month, in partnership with the Estee Lauder Companies' Breast Cancer Campaign on Oct. 1.
Hurley flipped the iconic switch to turn the Empire State Building pink with a scrolling breast cancer ribbon in the mast before she toured the building's exhibits and iconic Observatories.
For more than 30 years, the Estee Lauder Companies and its partners have led significant progress in the fight against breast cancer, and funded millions of dollars for lifesaving research, education, and medical services with the goal to eradicate the disease once and for all.
