On Feb. 6, the Empire State Building’s world-famous tower lights lit up red, black, and green to honor Black History Month. The annual celebration honors the civil rights movement, pays tribute to those who have struggled with adversity and fought for their freedoms, and uplifts those who continue to fight to this day.
That morning, the Empire State Building hosted a lighting ceremony with award-winning multihyphenate entertainer and founder of KeyTV, Keke Palmer, who flipped the famous light switch.
