'Tis the season!
The Empire State Building lit its world-famous tower lights in red and white with a Christmas tree swirling in the mast to celebrate opening night of the Christmas Spectacular Starring the Radio City Rockettes on Nov. 8.
The Rockettes visited the Empire State Building to flip the switch in a special lighting ceremony to honor the occasion. After the ceremony, the Rockettes toured the Observatory Experience's immersive museum and iconic 86th and 102nd Floor Observatories.
The Radio City Christmas Spectacular brings families together in an annual holiday tradition that has inspired more than 70 million people since its debut in 1933. Much like the Empire State Building Observatory, the Radio City Christmas Spectacular is a bucket list destination for visitors to New York City and is a sign that the holidays are just around the corner.
