Will Reeve Lights ESB for "Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story" | ESB

On Oct. 10, the Empire State Building lit up its world-famous tower lights in blue, yellow, orange, and red to celebrate the premiere of "Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story," in partnership with the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation.

Earlier that day, journalist and son of Christopher and Dana Reeve, Will Reeve, visited the building to flip the switch in a lighting ceremony and tour the Empire State Building Observatory, which was recently voted the number one attraction in the world by Tripadvisor travelers.

To millions of Americans, Christopher Reeve will always be known as Superman. Christopher portrayed the Man of Steel in four “Superman” films and dozens of other roles before his near-fatal accident that left him permanently paralyzed. “Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story” chronicles the beloved actor’s life and legacy and celebrates the drive and spirit that he embodied and inspired in others.

The Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation is a nonprofit organization that supports research and improved quality of life for individuals and families impacted by paralysis. Learn more here.
