American actress, comedian, writer, and producer Tina Fey visited ESB alongside the cast of “Mean Girls” (2024) to attend the lighting ceremony celebrating the premiere of “Mean Girls” (2024) and their partnership with Girls Inc. Fey gave remarks and presented $25,000 to Girls Inc.
- Fey was the first woman to be named head writer of Saturday Night Live after joining two years prior. She was the head writer for six seasons.
- Fey earned the Mark Twain prize in 2010 at the age of 40, making her the youngest prize winner.
- In honor of her late father, Fey and her brother founded a memorial scholarship at Temple University for those studying journalism.
