Chance the Rapper visited ESB for a lighting ceremony to celebrate the premiere of Season 25 of The Voice! Chance gave his remarks before flipping the famous switch that turned the ESB lights to red. Chance then got a tour of the 86th and 102nd Floor Observatories.
- Chance is friends with Beyoncé ("Auntie Yoncé") and Jay Z ("Unc").
- Chance's third mixtape Coloring Book was first released on iTunes streaming. After two weeks, he made it free to stream just like his other two mixtapes.
- One of Chance's first breaks was as the opening act for Childish Gambino.
