The American actor, composer, playwright, and filmmaker was invited to the Empire State Building to light the tower lights blue in support of Small Business Saturday. Miranda’s first musical and movie, “In the Heights” revolves around several small businesses on a city block. Miranda lit the Empire State Building in partnership with American Express to promote shopping small.
