Gold medal winning “Final Five” visited the Empire State Building just days after their incredible win at the 2016 Rio Olympics. The group, made up of Simone Biles, Gabby Douglas, Laurie Hernandez, Aly Raisman, and Madison Kocian, took in the NYC views as part of their post-win New York tour.

  1. The 2016 win was the third gold medal for the United States in the team event of artistic gymnastics
  2. The 2016 Olympics was the last Olympics where gymnastics teams would be made up of five members, earning the group the nickname of the “Final Five”
  3. Simone Biles also won 3 other gold medals in the individual all-around, vault, and floor exercises
